The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted on November 18, 1991, and is one of the official state symbols of the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with the emblem and anthem.
Basic information about the state flag
The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a rectangular cloth consisting of three horizontal stripes of saturated blue, white, and saturated green colors. Thin red stripes run along the edges of the white stripe.
In the upper blue stripe near the flagpole, there are white crescent and twelve five-pointed stars. The crescent and stars are white. The ratio of the width of the flag to its length is 1:2.
The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan reflects the historical and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people, as well as the natural features of the country. Each color and symbol on the flag has its own meaning.
