Application
The EC+DAF system is designed for advanced wastewater treatment, targeting oils, fats, emulsions, suspended solids, heavy metals, and organic compounds. The combination of electrocoagulation and dissolved air flotation ensures outstanding performance, even for complex wastewater streams.
Working Principle
Electrocoagulation (EC): An electric current passes through the water, releasing coagulant ions (aluminum or iron) from the electrodes. These ions destabilize contaminants and form larger flocs.
Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF): Pressurized air is injected, creating microbubbles that attach to the flocs and float them to the surface, where sludge is removed.
