Application
The CAF unit is designed for wastewater treatment to remove oils, fats, hydrocarbons, organics, and suspended solids. Unlike traditional Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF), CAF uses cavitation to generate ultra-fine bubbles, resulting in higher efficiency and lower energy consumption.
Working Principle
Wastewater enters the cavitation module, where pressure drops and turbulence create microbubbles. These bubbles attach to contaminants, lifting them to the surface where sludge is collected by a scraper. Clarified water is discharged for reuse or further treatment.
